Troop 265 is chartered by Community Presbyterian Church in Vacaville, CA. The troop is active in the outdoors, going on monthly outings. Some recent trips include a Canoe trek in Canada in June, Summer Camp at Camp Winton in July, Dillon Beach in September and the Weboree in October. The troop is proud of its legacy of many Eagle Scouts. This weekend, we went to the Weboree with Pack 491. It was located at Cache Creek County Park, about 1 hour north of Vacaville. The setting of the park was very nice. There were large hills towering over us on all sides, and the creek wrapped around our campsite. Our group had 9 scouts from our troop, 5 Webelos from Pack 491 and several adult leaders. The Webelos won 3 awards. Congratulations Scorpions!. |
